Unclear rubric or assessor expectations causing rework
Rubric and evaluator expectations are misaligned with task instructions—requirements (e.g., secondary navigation, positional awareness) are not clearly specified in rubric or task, causing unexpected returns.
"The prototype includes primary navigational elements. The **secondary navigational** elements as described in Task 1 '*another menu on the screen's left side*' was not observed. A **positional awareness technique** (i.e., breadcrumbs, highlighting the current tab, etc.) was not observed." ... "Nowhere in the rubric does it say we have to, and the reason I didn't is that it was a stupid idea in the first place."

Course/platform enforces sequential task approvals or locks subsequent tasks when earlier tasks are returned/not passed, and this behavior is not documented.
[I submitted both tasks at the same time but task one got sent back for a minor fix and then task 2 got sent back and locked because task 1 didn’t pass yet, is that normal for this class?]
